Wallace Edgerton was born January 14, 1934 and died May 25, 2015. He was 81 years old at the time of his death, which was caused by respiratory failure (lung transplant in 2010). He is survived by his wife Judee and daughter Lisa.

After leaving UMUC (European Division 1966 - 1974??) Wally returned to his native California and entered into local politics, successfully serving a city councilman for Long Beach, Ca for seventeen years (1975-92) and most recently as mayor and later councilman of the city of Menifee, Ca. He also continued his passion of teaching to students at Cal State Long Beach and Mt. San Jacinto College.
